Reading
If you enjoy reading, the El Sereno Public Library has beautiful
architecture and a great staff.
If you'd prefer fresh roasted coffees and anciant chocolate beverages with your
book or magazin, then Xocolatl Coffee House is just the thing.
You can get some some really fun items at one of the many 99cent stores in the area without hurting your budget, or take home fabulous grocieries for dinner that you won't find anywhere else in the city. Fresco Market or Taste of Brazil's Market are good starting points.

outstanding live dance and theater performances that rival the performances of
most professional venues.
