Iron Furniture Designs, or have a portrait taken at A2 Photo Studio.
Reading
If you enjoy reading, the El Sereno Public Library has beautiful
architecture and a great staff.
If you'd prefer fresh roasted coffees with your book or magazine, then Antigua Coffee House is just the thing.
You can get some some really fun items at one of the many 99cent stores in the area without hurting your budget, or take home fabulous grocieries for dinner that you won't find anywhere else in the city. Fresco Market or Taste of Brazil's Market are good starting points.
